CCP Names TianCity Exclusive EVE Online Publisher for Mainland China

REYKJAVIK, ICELAND and SHANGHAI, CHINA--Feb 22, 2012 - CCP Games today announced that it has granted online game publisher TianCity exclusive rights to publish the renowned science-fiction MMORPG EVE Online in mainland China. The two companies announced their partnership at a press conference in Shanghai, where Cao Nianbao, Chairman of TianCity and Jon Horddal, COO of CCP Games and Managing Director of CCP Asia, led the presentation, stating they were "starting a journey to a new era." Members of the TianCity EVE Online operations team provided an overview of EVE Online and the new features in the coming expansion, along with the first Chinese viewing of the EVE Online: New Era trailer. The latest release will be deployed in the second quarter of 2012, with greatly optimized graphics and performance improvements that will give Chinese players the full benefit of CCP's leading-edge Carbon technology platform.
