Almost two decades of experience in EVE with little to no breaks. Hundreds of fleets of FC experience but I've spent just as much time hunting and getting hunted solo or in small gangs. I helped lead The Initiative not only by running fleets in combat but organisational work too.
I'm pretty good with people and I served on the CSM(17) before so I know what I'm getting myself into.
Large scale and small scale experience combined with people skills and CSM experience is a good mix to keep things moving in the right direction or maybe even push a bit harder. The Ansiblex changes were a good start but even on the topic of projection alone they are only one part of the equation and won't achieve much on their own. Citadels and their mechanics would probably be next on my list.
I run public fleets and stream live on Twitch as "zehPando" so if you have any questions, ask. It isn't unlike a CSM meeting: you don't always get a week to prepare the perfect answer, sometimes you have to strike while the iron's hot.
