I've played EVE since launch and experienced New Eden from very different sides, from high-sec mercenary PvP to PvE, mining, exploration and industry. Today, my main focus is helping new players find their footing in Empire space and understand the game around them.
One of the biggest barriers for new players is not simply the skill-point gap. It is the knowledge gap. Veterans know hundreds of mechanics, tools and small tricks that are often hard to discover through normal play or the UI. I don't want to make EVE simpler or take away the value of experience. I want to make its depth easier to discover and give new players a better path into the game.
On the CSM, I would focus on new-player retention, Empire gameplay, better discoverability, and practical feedback on the systems newer players struggle with most. I want more players to get far enough into EVE to find their place, connect with others, and create the stories and memories that make them stay.
