I've played EVE for a decade. When people see my EVE shirts, they ask if they should play. I tell them no because I can't explain enough in one conversation to get them ready. I expect they'd lose ships over and over before figuring it out. I'd like a better path from being interested to knowing how to take part.

I'm a nullsec guy, but both sides of every fight need a way to get pilots to staging. Every activity has its own starting point. Our finance and industry draw on real-world principles and expertise; I think our goals and methods can too. On the CSM, I'd listen across the game and look at what helps people reach those starting points.

We're pushing buttons and looking at pixels, and people write articles and run news stories about what we do. More of us playing more of the game means more to talk about and more reasons for others to try it. When we started playing, we wouldn't have guessed decades. Now half a century feels within reach. It's just a game, but it's our game.
