Three days remaining to win a tour of the CCP office in Iceland

The Office Tour allows a player and one friend to have a tour of the CCP office in Reykjavík before Fanfest. The tour takes place on the day before Fanfest officially opens, meaning the winner will have their tour on September 30, 2009. Our CEO, Hilmar Veigar Pétursson, will conduct the tour and take players through the Game Design, Software, Operations, Art and Production departments within CCP and the winners will get a chance to see how EVE is created and maintained first-hand.

EVE API disabled until downtime Wednesday, September 23.

Following the upgrade from SQL 2005 to SQL 2008 earlier today, the EVE API will be disabled until downtime on Wednesday, September 23. Our operations team will use the next 24 hours to monitor Tranquility to ensure that there are no problems following the upgrade at which time the EVE API will be reactivated.

According to a survey by the Republic University, most Nefantar and a significant portion of other recent immigrants from the Mandate and the Empire are choosing to keep their Amarrian religious beliefs.

Extended downtime this Tuesday, September 22 for database upgrade

The downtime this Tuesday, September 22, has been extended and will start at 08:00 UTC. During the downtime we will upgrade the Tranquility SQL server database to SQL 2008. The EVE Online website, including account services, will be down until approximately 10:00 UTC and the Tranquility server will be back up at 12:00 UTC.

Nefantar Defector Presses Court Case Against Urban Management

Trytedald - The Vherokior tribal court has agreed to hear the case of Oguko Hagori, a former Mandate industrialist who fled to the Republic during the Elder War last year. Hagori is suing Urban Management for control of land his family once controlled on Trytedald III.
