The latest connection drop

It seems that around 10.000 players just lost connection to the server. The cause of this is not known at this time but nothing indicates it's due to server side Proxy or node deaths. This will be monitored closely so the cause can be pinpointed as quickly as possible. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.The GM Team

Greetings, The so-called "POS Bowling" will from here on be considered an exploit. While it is true that this is not verifiable after the fact by way of logs, GMs are able to go ingame and monitor situations at will, and do it without anyone knowing. If we catch anyone doing this we will take the appropriate action against them.

Recent Performance Issues

To address this we are running at decreased hardware capacity, while we work on this at hardware, software and content levels. Update on investigation into allegations of misconduct

We are proceeding with our investigations into the four allegations brought to our attention - alleged misconduct on the part of two developers in separate incidents, removal of a volunteer from the program and bias within the event team concerning an event arc, the last an incident which has already been investigated in the past.

EVE Fanfest 2007 - Early Bird and Preliminary Schedule

We would like to remind you all that the "early bird special" rate is only valid to May 31, after that the prices will go up so make sure you book your Fanfest package now! At least if you want it a bit cheaper, and who doesn't want that? Remember to also purchase the Fanfest pass through our store, it is not included in the packages and it will not be available at the door. To give you all a sneak peek of what's to come, we have also added a preliminary schedule to the Fanfest 2007 pages.

Dozens believed dead as explosion rocks Egbonbet station

At approximately 22:50 EVE Time last night, a bomb exploded in the Republic Parliament Bureau station in Egbonbet, the station scheduled to host the next round of talks between the Minmatar Republic and the Ammatar Mandate. The explosion tore into a civilian habitat section of the station and severed several transport corridors, catching the Ammatar delegation and killing one of the Mandate consulate members. Server issues today, Thursday, May 24

You may have experienced lag or other problems on Tranquility today. This is caused by hardware problems, resulting in node deaths. We're working hard to resolve this. We also have some good news however, our ISP has now finished some maintenance, which should have resolved the packet loss issue. Please check this forum thread for any updates.
