110 EST Is Upon Us

By Svarthol

NEW EDEN – Historically New Eden has been rife with tumult and chaos. Whether the Reclaiming, the Minmatar Rebellion or the Caldari-Gallente War, our galaxy has rarely been peaceful or quiet. Likewise, the year 109 EST was no exception. In the past 12 months we have seen alliances born and destroyed, the Coallition-Band of Brothers war grow to new heights, the destruction of Titan class star ships, and sovereignty shift daily as numerous alliances fight tooth and claw for their own space. And in...

Spacey Love

By Svarthol

In the deepest corners of the Amarr system, one may find a man mining Veldspar in his Revelation. That man is Chribba. The same one who has introduced a new venture; one he refers to as 'The Love Project'. A not-so-secret plan involving ‘love cans’ and now even ‘love ships’, all loaded with high-end industrial gear.

Early Downtime, Thursday 20 December

By Svarthol

Today, at 10:36 GMT we unfortunately had an unscheduled downtime of the Eve Cluster connection. In preparation for certain downtimes, we sometimes need to ensure certain things are correct and in order, this preparation involves some network and systems changes for security reasons. The error today was a human operational error that involved accidently stopping the Tranquility communication with the world.

By Svarthol

Sosala - For the past several weeks The Bleak Lands has been the victim of numerous raids which have targeted and disrupted trade routes and ambushed Amarr Navy patrols throughout the region. The Navy themselves have to date been quick to downplay the effectiveness of the attacks, and to assure the public that the re-appearance of the Defiants was contained and of minimal concern.

Sosala – Reports are just filtering in of a large scale fleet assault on the Saracens central defense cortex in The Bleak Lands. Yulai - At a CONCORD press conference held earlier today, the official nomenclature of the recently opened regions - commonly called "the drone regions" by the general capsuleer populace - was announced. Speculation had been rife regarding the delays in announcing the names following the landmark decision by CONCORD to solicit the capsuleer community in the naming process. Commander Nakuyama, the official in charge of the naming committee, used the conference as an opportunity to apologize for t...

The Lifecycle of an Alliance

By Svarthol

Similar to that of new products on the market, the entities of New Eden go through various stages throughout their lives. These are the growth, maturity, decline, and death phases. Even though there may be a variety of factors governing the transition between these phases, it is to be expected that someday all corporations and alliances will experience them all. The birth of an alliance is a wonderful event in New Eden.
