Reminder: Extended Downtime, Wednesday 1 November, 10:00-10:00 GMT & More hardware upgrades in November

Tranquility will have an extended downtime, Wednesday 1 November, running for 24 hours from 10:00 to 10:00 GMT. This downtime will add 10 new nodes, more RAMSAN capacity and connections to more internet backbone providers for increased stability and fault tolerance. Later in November, we will have 2 new IBM Bladecenters coming with 28 new servers for Tranquility.

At 12:00 noon EVT today, polls for the Office of the Presidency opened in the five-hundred-twenty-eight voting districts of the Gallente Federation. With the projected turnout approaching 2.5 trillion voters, today’s election is shaping up to be one of the biggest in the Federation’s history. Today's Server Restarts

Earlier today, we applied a hotfix to resolve an issue that recently came to light. Unfortunately, the hotfix was incomplete and resulted in a different error which necessitated the removal of the hotfix to an earlier version. CATCH – Over the past weeks the G-7WUF system, and its surrounding systems, has been the scene of large scale fighting between the Interstellar Alcohol Conglomerate [IAC] and the Mercenary Coalition [MC]. The attack on Conglomerate owned space stations in G-7WUF by over 20 Coalition Dreadnaught class vessels started a conflict that not only tested the resolve of the IAC, but also triggered several other alliances to come to IAC's aid.

New Organisation Emerges in Empire Outskirts

Late Tuesday evening a group of ships, from the previously unknown Blood Sephrim, entered Amarr Empire space and gave local capsuleer pilots an ideological sermon before losing a vessel in combat with one of the pilots. Just after 1900 galactic standard time Tuesday, a trio of pilots from what they declared to be the 'Blood Sephrim', an organisation unheard of until this point, entered the Kourmonen system of The Bleak Lands region.
