Connectivity Problems

According to internal sources, there is an issue with one of the two major fiber backbones supplying communication services to Iceland. As a result, there are connectivity issues when attempting to access the official EVE site, the test servers, and occasionally, Tranquility. This is not a CCP or EVE specific problem, it is affecting Iceland as a whole. Technicians are fervently working to find a work around for this problem.

Capsuleers Drawn Into Struggle as Amarr / Blood Raider Fighting Continues

Wednesday saw the latest in a series of ongoing clashes between the Amarr Navy and the forces of the Blood Raider Covenant. Two main battles are reported to have been fought; a Covenant ammunition convoy was taken down in the Alkabsi system by Navy forces assisted by capsuleer fighters, after which a retaliatory strike against a Navy scout team in Haras saw Covenant forces and loyalist capsuleers strike back against the Empire.

ISK Seller Syndicate Terminated

Today, the EVE GM team moved against the single biggest ISK selling operation uncovered since the launch of EVE Online, quite simply a virtual crime syndicate, dealing in vast sums of ISK. Over 80 accounts were involved, all active sellers and providers of ISK and all were permanently banned from our server. We'd like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that online sales of ingame items are a EULA violation, one that carries with it an instant and permanent ban.

Winners of election emissary contest announced

The Federal Administration has finally come out with the much-anticipated list of winners of the election emissary contest. With literally thousands of vouchers to wade through, even the extensive bureaucracy of the FA was at a breaking point matching them all up. The CEOs of the winning corporation have been notified of their corp’s success and all of these corporations have received a brand new Navy Issue Megathron as a reward for their great efforts.

Patch Deployment Delayed

The patch that was to be deployed on 28 June will be delayed at the request of the Quality Assurance department. QA wants more testing time before the patch goes live on Tranquility. The new tentative deployment date will be 5 July. If the patch is not ready for deployment on 5 July, it will be delayed for further testing. Patch notes will be available before deployment.

Amarr Empire Goes To War

Coming before his people for the first time in months, His Holiness The Emperor of Amarr this afternoon spoke from the steps of the Imperial palace in Dam-Torsad. In his speech, he exhorted his subjects to “through strength of mind and heart, weather the tide of evil that now assails the servants of God.” The Emperor then went on to proclaim that every single arm of military might controlled by the Empire would now be pointed squarely in the direction of the Blood Raider Covenant.

The official position of both the Caldari State and the Caldari Navy in the Amarrian slave uprising was explained during a press conference held yesterday afternoon on the Navy’s offices in Vuorrasi VI. Aid work blocked as planetary medical facilities struggle to cope

The Sisters of EVE this morning made a public plea to the Amarrian council to be allowed into Mabnen and the other systems which were seeded by the Blood Raiders to provide critically needed aid to the casualties of the uprisings in those systems. Speaking on behalf of the entire organisation, Santimona Sarpati, the CEO of the sisters of EVE spoke of the terrific numbers of casualties in these systems which they were being denied access to.

The streets and highways in Republic colonies are swiftly becoming a hotbed of anti-Amarrian sentiments, as decades of repressed rage are coming to the surface. Following the news regarding the slave revolts on Mabnen, and the joyous realization that a cure for the dreaded Vitoc treatment has finally been found and realized, many Minmatar free citizens have taken to the streets.
