Arcane Technologies spearheads first official Inter Alliance Industrial Cup

Within weeks of Concord recognising the outer rim alliances as sovereign nation-states, Arcane Technologies (ATUK) has organised their first official tournament. Providence host to new elusive pirate threat

Pilots in the providence region are being advised to be extra vigilant when travelling, as reports are circulating of a group of as- yet unknown pirates have started to prey on lone ships, travelling on the various backwater routes. Reliable information about these individuals is scarce; however, they are using Minmatar ship designs which have been widely agreed to by pilots who have encountered them.

2 Billion Served

Some information to appeal to database-types, number crunchers and geeks in general, the size of the EVE Online database reached 2 billion items early this morning. One of the members of the EVE community manufactured a Cataclysm Cruise Missile I bearing the database serial number 2,000,000,000. The player that manufactured this Cruise Missile will be receiving a gift package from CCP in his mailbox.

Notice from Customer Support regarding reimbursment for lost ships

Dear players. Those of you who have sent us petitions to claim reimbursment for lost ships, please note the following: If we reimburse, we will remove the insurance payout received for the ship in question. This can in some cases result in a negative status of the characters wallet, wich can be inconvenient for those paying bills or using the market.

New Forum Feature (and a recap of old ones)

Some features have been added to the forum settings recently. "Show Alliance" has been added as an option, so it is now possible to display your character's race, corporation and alliance. It is also possible to select whether you want to view the signature graphics of other players or not.

Quafe intern in trouble after mystery theft

A bizarre story has filtered out of the Quafe Company. A large shipment of Quafe recently disappeared from the company’s warehouse in the Allamotte system. Dune Mirmueren, a spokesman for the company, has revealed that the disappearance was being treated as a theft, with the prime suspect, and also sole witness, being a lowly intern.
