Planetary conquest bonuses delayed until May 22

Due to some issues that came up in testing, Team True Grit, the team in charge of the link between EVE and DUST 514, has made the decision to delay the implementation of the bonuses which EVE players get from Planetary Conquest in DUST 514 until may 22. Planetary Conquest is still live on TQ, but bonuses won't take effect until Wednesday may 22.

Mass test on Thursday, May 16th

We will be holding a mass test to test several new features for the Odyssey release and we will focus mostly on the new jump and pod death transitions. If you’re interested in attending please join us on the Singularity test server, Thursday, May 16th, at 17:00 UTC.

All participants will receive a small reward of two million skill points on Singularity.

Extended downtime on Monday, May 6th

Unexpected API Server Downtime

Flight of 1000 Rifters III to be held May 5 at 18:30 GMT

Another Flight of 1000 Rifters event is coming up on May 5th to be held at 18:30 GMT. This one looks to top them all! Don't know what the Flight of 1000 Rifters is? It's where one player undocks in a capital ship and encourages tons of explosions and gives out some awesome prizes. Wait, did I say capital ship? I meant to say supercapital!

Single Sign On for Account Management

As discussed in a recent dev blog, we are introducing Single Sign On (SSO) to some of our websites and as of Monday April 22nd, Account Management will require SSO.

As explained in the dev blog this does not affect your username and password; the change is simply that you will be directed to the new log in page which functions the same as the old one.

After logging in once you will not need to re-enter your credentials when you visit another EVE Online website that also uses SSO.

Payment and PLEX systems downtime, Thursday April 11th

Due to hardware upgrades on the network infrastructure behind both the payment and the PLEX system, these systems will be unavailable from 08:00 to 09:30 UTC (= EVE-time) on Thursday 11th of April. This means you will not be able to use PLEX to extend your subscription during that period nor purchase PLEX from account management, along with all other payment systems being down as well.

We apologize for the inconvenience this causes and thank you all for your patience in the matter. The affected services will return as soon as these upgrades have finished.

Clarification on Pirate Rookie Ships, Available Through the Fanfest HD Stream Purchase and Other Promotions

It has come to our attention that the Echo and Immolator, two of the pirate rookie ships available to choose from when purchasing the HD stream, FanFest ticket or redeeming a special event/player gathering code contain an error in their fitting tab which claims the ship has rig slots.

These rookie ships do not have rig slots nor are they intended to have them. This incorrect information will be removed in a future patch. Our apologies for any confusion that had arisen due to the incorrect information.

Second Month Of Syndicate Competitive League Kicks Off Today!

The Syndicate Competitive League (SCL) begins again today, with the first day of matches taking place starting from 17:00 UTC. 8 teams are fighting in a double elimination tournament for the crown of SCL Champions.

The SCL is a fully competitive, player organized PVP League designed to host regular matches and weekend tournaments in an exciting and easy accessible way, thus addressing increased player demand of high quality PVP and tournament streaming.
